The popotamus! Amelie Jr t-shirts (you know, that little girl that told an unbelievable story and became an internet phenomenom …). Proceeds benefit Edurelief, which "works with local school systems across Mongolia to provide these textbooks to the neediest families ensuring that every child receives their right to education and a brighter future. Increasingly, creative types are harnessing what I've begun to call "the T-shirt economy"—paying for bits by selling atoms. Charging for content online is hard, often impossible. Even 10 cents for a download of something like Red vs. Blue might drive away the fans. So instead of fighting this dynamic, today's smart artists are simply adapting to it.

Woah. Like. hum. what's the name again … collateral damage?
US Missile Defense Agency video of the 2 December 2008 free-flight hover test of Lockheed Martin's Multiple Kill Vehicle (MKV-L). The MKV is designed to allow a single interceptor to destroy a ballistic missile equipped with multiple warheads or countermeasures. In Lockheed's design, a seeker-equipped carrier vehicle maneuvers into the path of the ballistic missile then dispenses and guides small kill vehicles to their targets. In its first test, the MKV-L hovered for 20 seconds in a special facility at Edwards AFB, California, while recognizing and tracking a simulated target.

"Lindsay Lohan's debut legwear line, 6126 leggings, is selling like hot cakes - despite a very hefty price tag.
Retailers have said that the "Mean Girls" star's 6126 footless tights are a rage all over the world.
"They're blowing off the shelves," The New York Daily News quoted Jill Lowe, publicist for high-end Hollywood boutique Intuition, as saying.
Also, Lindsay's Marilyn Monroe-inspired leggings, price ranging between 44 to 132 dollars, are flying out the doors at Henri Bendel, Nordstrom, Intermix and Lisa Kline."

A couple of days ago, we got to see the teaser for the ten minute silent film Karl Lagerfeld produced to introduce his extravagant Chanel Paris-Moscow show. Now, the full-fledged directorial debut is available, with Edita Vilkeviciute as a lounging, smoking, staring Coco Chanel, and other assorted members of Karl's entourage in the supporting roles. Karl takes the opportunity to poke fun at Chanel's rival Poiret — "What is that horror you're wearing?" — and there's another humorous moment involving a deliveryman and some hat boxes, but generally speaking, he should stick to the clothes.

A lot of people have asked me to recommend books on visual thinking, visual learning, the brain, business, etc., so I have compiled this list. I've added a brief note to each book so you can see why I think it's important.

While candy bars with personalized labels are a dime a dozen, a German startup offers a tastier kind of customization, letting customers design their own chocolate.
